Library House Gallery is a contemporary art gallery which opened in June 2011. Our mission is to provide a space for established and emerging artists to freely present their creative expression.
Zimbabwe Stone Sculptures at Library House Gallery, above the bookstore
A collection of traditional handcrafted wooden Baule portrait masks from Côte d’Ivoire. The Baule people are one of the largest ethnic groups in the Côte d’Ivoire. Masks correspond to several types of dances: the goli, the gba bga and the bonu amuen and are always worn by men.
Also come see a selection of fine and elegantly carved stone sculptures crafted by artists from Zimbabwe. Hand carved by the Shona people, our collection portrays themes of nature, family & the beauty of women.
Ruskin Beechler Stone (1906-2003) Art of the Portrait on display at Library House Gallery I, an extremely prolific painter primarily known for portraits.
Bernadine Stetzel (1927-2016), at Our Town Gallery, a self-taught artist whose primitive style of painting spoke of childhood memories in Tiffin, Ohio during the Depression. She created more than 1,000 paintings during her long-life.

Eleanor Hutton is a children’s book illustrator and writer. She is a graduate of Maumee Valley Country Day School and The College of Wooster, Wooster, Ohio. She has taken art classes since she was young. Eleanor grew up in an artistic environment and continues to expand her career through exploration of the arts.
