Matt Malone grew up in a military family, moving every two years exposing him to many different people, places, and cultures. In 2001,at age 21, a spinal cord injury left him paralyzed from the neck down. This changed his life forever and led to a heightened passion to depict the world around him.
He has a B.F.A. in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University and lives and exhibits in Washington DC.
